An established Scottish firm is looking to appoint a Senior Associate into its Commercial Litigation team in Glasgow as part of continued growth within its disputes practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value commercial disputes while maintaining close involvement in client strategy and long-term business relationships.

The position would suit an experienced commercial litigator seeking autonomy, high-quality work and a long-term opportunity within a collaborative and well-resourced team.

The role

As a Senior Associate in the Commercial Litigation team, you will manage a diverse caseload of commercial and business disputes. This will include litigation in the Scottish courts, alternative dispute resolution, and strategic advisory work to help clients manage and resolve disputes effectively.

You will also be involved in mentoring junior colleagues, contributing to client development and supporting the continued growth of the wider commercial disputes practice.

About you

This role would suit a Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor who:

Has significant experience in commercial litigation or business disputes
Is comfortable managing complex, high-value matters independently
Enjoys direct client contact and relationship-building
Has experience supporting or supervising junior members of the team
Takes a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to dispute resolution
Works well within a collaborative team environment
