Job Description

Overview:

We’re recruiting for a solicitor to join a leading contentious construction team based in Glasgow. You’ll work on complex disputes across adjudication, litigation, arbitration, and mediation, advising a diverse client base including developers, contractors, consultants, and insurers.

Role Requirements:

Experience:

1–5 years’ PQE in litigation, ideally with exposure to construction or insurance disputes
Experience advising on contract interpretation, dispute strategy, and resolution pathways
Comfortable working across adjudication, mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings

Skills:

Excellent drafting and analytical skills
Clear communicator with a practical, client-focused approach
Able to manage deadlines, contribute to team strategy, and support junior colleagues
Enthusiastic about contentious construction and eager to grow within the sector
