The role

As a Professional Indemnity Solicitor, you’ll handle a varied caseload of complex claims, acting for insurers and advising on disputes involving professionals across multiple sectors.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing professional indemnity claims from inception through to resolution
Advising on liability, quantum and insurance coverage issues
Handling litigation and dispute resolution matters
Supporting clients across sectors including financial, construction and professional services
Drafting legal documents, reports and strategic advice
Building and maintaining strong relationships with insurer clients
Supervising and supporting junior lawyers where appropriate
Contributing to business development and team initiatives

About you

This role would suit an Insurance Litigation / Professional Indemnity Solicitor who:

Has 8+ years’ PQE
Has a background in litigation, insurance or commercial disputes
Has experience managing complex or high-value claims
Demonstrates analytical and drafting skills
Is confident advising on legal strategy and technical issues
Has experience working with insurer clients or professional service firms
Is comfortable supervising junior colleagues
Takes a commercial and client-focused approach
