Their Professional Indemnity team is known UK-wide for its expertise and acts for an impressive portfolio of insurers on complex, high-value matters involving solicitors, accountants, IFAs, surveyors, architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
This role suits a senior lawyer who thrives on technical detail, enjoys unpicking thorny liability and coverage issues, and values working closely with insurers and professional clients. You’ll join a collaborative, well-supported team, gain exposure to heavyweight work, and play a key part in the firm’s continued growth.
Role Requirements:
Experience:
• 8+ years’ PQE (applications from 5+ PQE with relevant litigation experience will be considered)
• Experience in litigation, solicitor advocacy, commercial disputes, insurance, or professional indemnity
• Confident advising on strategy, coverage, and managing complex claims from start to finish
Skills:
• Excellent analytical and drafting ability with meticulous attention to detail
• Skilled at building and managing relationships with senior professionals, clients, and insurers
• Comfortable supervising junior colleagues while also working independently
• Commercially aware with an interest in contributing to business development
