Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior Residential Development Lawyer to join a leading UK firm in Edinburgh, taking a pivotal role in developing and expanding the firm’s residential development offering in Scotland.

This position offers the chance to work with a diverse client base, including national house builders, developers, and landowners, advising on:

  • Strategic land projects
  • Site acquisitions and disposals
  • Option and promotion agreements
  • Complex title and development issues

Applications are encouraged from those with a strong track record in residential development or broader real estate work, whether from a large commercial practice or a smaller firm environment.

The firm is also open to senior lawyers who:

  • Have established client relationships or loyal client bases
  • Have reached a natural ceiling in their current firm
  • Bring a distinctive perspective, sector insight, or unique background
