Overview:
An established and growing law firm in Hamilton is looking to appoint a Senior Residential Conveyancing Solicitor (5+ PQE). You will manage a wide range of residential property transactions, providing clear, practical advice to clients and ensuring matters are progressed efficiently. This is a senior position with scope to take on responsibility and play a key role in the firm’s conveyancing team.
Role Requirements:
Experience:
Scottish qualified solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing
Proven ability to manage your own caseload from instruction to completion — including sales, purchases, re-mortgages and new builds
Experience in more complex transactions and ability to resolve issues proactively
Skilled communicator with confidence in client contact and negotiations
Willingness to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the development of the team
Skills:
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
Commercial awareness and attention to detail
Supportive team player with the ability to work independently
Committed to delivering high-quality client service
