Job Description

Are you a residential conveyancing solicitor looking to join a well-established and highly regarded Scottish law firm in Edinburgh with an excellent reputation?

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative and supportive property team, advising a loyal client base on a broad range of residential property matters while working alongside experienced colleagues across the wider firm.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:

  • Residential sales and purchases
  • Transfers of title
  • Re-mortgages and refinancing transactions
  • General residential property advice

The role also offers the opportunity to work on cross-border property matters alongside colleagues in other jurisdictions, providing clients with a seamless service across a range of residential property transactions.

Working closely with specialists across other practice areas, you'll play a key role in delivering a holistic service tailored to each client's individual needs.

About You

You will be a Scottish-qualified solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE in residential property and experience managing your own caseload independently.

You will also:

  • Be committed to delivering an exceptional client experience
  • Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Be proactive, organised and able to manage a varied workload
  • Enjoy working collaboratively within a friendly and supportive team
  • Have strong attention to detail and a professional, personable approach

Experience of cross-border property work or dual qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join a firm that places real value on client relationships and invests in the development of its people.

In return, you can expect:

  • A varied and high-quality caseload
  • A collaborative and supportive working environment
  • Genuine opportunities for career progression and professional development
  • Hybrid working
  • A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package

If you're looking to take the next step in your residential property career within a respected and people-focused firm, I'd be delighted to hear from you.
