Job Description

Overview:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Renewable Energy Solicitor to join a leading team advising across Scotland’s renewable energy sector. You’ll work with a broad client base on high-profile projects across wind, hydro, solar, battery storage and marine energy.

Role Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ PQE in energy law, or a background in commercial property or rural law with a clear interest in renewables
Experience drafting and negotiating project-related documentation including options, leases and exclusivity agreements
Familiarity with due diligence processes and stakeholder engagement in energy projects

Skills:

Effective communicator with attention to detail
Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines
Commercially aware and solutions-focused
Keen to contribute to sector publications and attend industry events
