Real Estate Solicitor (2-5 years')

Job Description

A leading international law firm is seeking a dual-qualified real estate solicitor (Scotland and England & Wales) to join its growing Glasgow team.

This is an opportunity to be part of a globally connected real estate practice, advising on high-value, complex transactions across the UK and internationally. The Scottish team plays an integral role within the wider practice, delivering a seamless service across development, infrastructure, investment, landlord and tenant, portfolio management and real estate finance matters.

The Role

The successful candidate will work on a broad mix of matters, including:

• Development and infrastructure projects
• Investment acquisitions and disposals (including corporate share acquisitions)
• Real estate finance transactions
• Asset and portfolio management work
• Drafting and negotiating agreements for lease, sale contracts, easements and ancillary documentation
• Preparing and reviewing reports on title and due diligence documentation
• Working closely with planning and construction colleagues as part of wider project teams

Clients include major infrastructure bodies, national retailers, UK banks, developers and international investors. The work is high-profile, commercially focused and often cross-border in nature.

About You

• Dual qualified in Scotland and England & Wales
• 2-5 years’ PQE in commercial real estate
• Strong development and investment experience
• Commercially minded, proactive and confident working directly with clients
• Comfortable collaborating across teams and jurisdictions
