Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a real estate lawyer to join a leading team in either Glasgow or Edinburgh.

The Role
The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of real estate transactions across multiple sectors, with particular focus on investment, development, renewables, and asset management work. The role offers exposure to high-value and complex transactions, working with significant investors and developers in the Scottish market. The team’s work spans traditional asset classes such as offices, retail, and industrial, as well as newer sectors including student accommodation, hotels and leisure, renewables, and the PRS market.

About You

  • 3-6 years’ PQE within a recognised real estate team (major or medium-sized firm).
  • Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Commercially aware, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining high standards
  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently
