Real Estate Finance Solicitor (3-5 years')

Job Description

A leading independent Scottish firm is seeking a Senior Solicitor/Associate to join its growing Real Estate Finance team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to take on early responsibility within a collaborative and supportive environment, advising major clients on a wide range of real estate finance and banking transactions.

The Work

The successful candidate will work closely with partners and other team members on high-quality matters including:

• Preparing, reviewing and reporting on real estate finance documents, securities, leases, and loan documentation.
• Conducting title examination and due diligence on Land Registered and Sasine titles.
• Preparing and reviewing certificates of title, deeds of servitude, and related property documentation.
• Managing files from instruction to completion, ensuring a seamless client experience.

The Ideal Candidate

This role will suit a Scottish-qualified solicitor with 3-5 years’ PQE and strong experience in real estate or real estate finance transactions. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, client-focused approach are essential.
