Real Estate - Energy Solicitor | Edinburgh | 1–3 PQE | Join a specialist team advising on commercial property, renewable energy, infrastructure and strategic land projects | Flexible working available

Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a solicitor to join a well-established Scottish law firm in Edinburgh, working within a specialist team advising on a broad range of energy, infrastructure and strategic land matters.

This is an exciting opportunity for a property solicitor looking to develop their experience within the renewables and energy sector, with exposure to high-quality and varied projects across Scotland and the wider UK.

The Role

You will undertake a range of commercial property and related transactional work connected to energy, infrastructure and strategic land projects.

Working as part of an experienced and supportive team, you will have the opportunity to manage your own matters while also contributing to larger and more complex transactions.

The role will involve:

  • Advising on commercial property matters relating to energy and infrastructure projects
  • Supporting the acquisition and development of renewable energy projects
  • Working on strategic land and development transactions
  • Managing your own caseload with appropriate support
  • Collaborating with colleagues across other legal disciplines on larger projects
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to the continued development and growth of the practice

About You

Ideally, you will have:

  • 1–3 years’ PQE, although candidates outside this range will also be considered
  • Experience within commercial property, rural property and/or energy property
  • An interest in developing your expertise within the energy and renewables sector
  • The ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively as part of a wider team
  • Strong communication, organisational and client relationship skills

This would particularly suit a commercial or rural property solicitor looking to specialise further within energy and strategic land, or someone already working within the sector who is keen to broaden their experience.

The firm offers a supportive and collaborative working environment, alongside flexible working arrangements, with both full-time and part-time applications considered.
