Job Opportunity: Senior Associate Solicitor – Professional Indemnity (5+ PQE)
Location: Glasgow (hybrid)
Overview:
We’re recruiting on behalf of a specialist legal practice with a growing presence in Scotland, offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join this Professional Indemnity team in Glasgow.
The team is highly regarded across the UK and regularly acts for a wide range of insurers on complex, high-value claims involving professionals such as solicitors, accountants, IFAs, surveyors, architects, engineers and contractors.
This role is ideal for a senior lawyer who enjoys digging into technical detail, advising on complex liability and coverage issues, and working closely with insurers and professional clients. You’ll be part of a collaborative team with access to high-profile work and the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s continued growth.
Role Requirements:
Experience:
5+ years’ PQE
Background in litigation, solicitor advocacy, commercial disputes, insurance, or PI
Experience advising on strategy, coverage, and managing complex claims from start to resolution
Skills:
Excellent analytical and drafting skills with a keen eye for detail
Confident managing relationships with senior professionals, clients, and insurers
Comfortable supervising junior team members and working independently
Commercially aware and proactive in identifying business development opportunities
