Job Description

A top-ranked Private Client team is looking for a private client solicitor to join its highly regarded practice in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside leading experts and be involved in a broad range of high-quality private client work.

The successful candidate will advise on:

  • Wills, powers of attorney, trust and executry administration
  • Tax planning
  • Complex cross-border matters

You’ll also gain exposure to advising high-net-worth individuals, acting for trustees and executors, and supporting clients with personal injury trusts and incapacity issues.

This is a client-facing role with opportunities to mentor junior team members, contribute to internal training, and take part in strategic business development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-4 years’ PQE in private client or related areas (NQ candidates with relevant experience will also be considered)
  • Strong drafting and client communication skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • A genuine interest in estate planning and client care
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach
