Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced private client solicitor to join a respected team in Edinburgh. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with individuals, families, and rural or high-net-worth clients on estate, succession, and tax planning matters.

The Opportunity
You will advise on estate planning, trusts, succession structures, asset protection and estate administration, collaborating with colleagues across property, business law, charities, family, employment and litigation to deliver holistic, joined-up advice. The position offers meaningful client contact and the chance to build trusted long-term relationships.

Both full-time and part-time applicants are welcome, and hybrid working is supported.

About You

  • • 3+ years’ PQE (Scotland or England & Wales) with private client experience
  • • Strong knowledge of estate planning, trusts, succession or tax matters
  • • A discreet, empathetic communicator who enjoys client-facing work
  • • Confident managing varied workloads with a collaborative approach
  • STEP qualified or willing to complete the diploma (funded)
