Overview
We are working with an established and expanding firm in Glasgow to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their team. This role offers the chance to manage a varied and often complex caseload while working closely with an experienced Partner. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone with solid case-handling experience who is looking to progress their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Role Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 1 year PQE within a Private Client or estate administration team
Experience handling testate and intestate estates, including exposure to Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Income Tax matters
Confident managing files from initial instruction through to completion, with support available when needed
Background working collaboratively with fee-earners and administrative colleagues
Skills:
Excellent technical understanding of estate administration
Organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload
Clear, empathetic communication with clients and colleagues
Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
A proactive, positive approach to work

Key Responsibilities
Manage your own caseload with guidance from Partners and Associates
Meet clients in person, by phone, and via video calls
Work closely with colleagues to ensure cases progress efficiently
Refer matters to other departments where appropriate to enhance client service
Support business development activity and contribute to the continued growth of the team
