Overview
A Glasgow City Centre firm is looking to recruit a Personal Injury Solicitor to join its team. This position is suitable for a Newly Qualified solicitor or a trainee solicitor seeking to reassign their traineeship who is currently gaining experience in personal injury work and looking to continue their career in this area.
The Role
The role will involve assisting with and progressing a mixed caseload of personal injury matters, including employers’ liability, public liability and clinical negligence, depending on experience. You will work alongside experienced colleagues, with involvement in live cases and the opportunity to continue developing case-handling skills.
Role Requirements
• Newly Qualified solicitor, or trainee solicitor seeking to reassign their traineeship
• For trainee reassignments, current experience in personal injury as part of an existing traineeship is required
• Exposure to EL/PL and/or clinical negligence matters is preferred
• Interest in continuing a career in personal injury law
• Ability to work as part of a team while developing independence
Skills
• Good drafting and legal research skills
• Clear and professional communication with clients
• Organised approach with the ability to manage deadlines
• Willingness to learn and take responsibility
