Personal Injury Solicitor (NQ-5)

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a solicitor to join a highly regarded litigation team within an established firm in Edinburgh. 

The successful candidate will join a growing healthcare practice, working on a varied caseload involving healthcare-related claims and historic abuse matters. The role offers exposure to complex and often challenging litigation, alongside the opportunity to develop specialist expertise within a supportive and collaborative team.

The Role

• Manage a varied caseload of healthcare and abuse-related claims
• Handle litigation matters from initial instruction through to resolution
• Draft legal reports, correspondence, pleadings and other relevant documentation
• Undertake legal research and advise on complex legal issues
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider practice

About You

• A qualified Scottish solicitor with NQ-5 years' PQE
• Previous experience in litigation, ideally within personal injury
• Exposure to healthcare litigation or abuse claims would be advantageous but is not essential
• Strong technical, drafting and communication skills
• Confident managing competing priorities within a fast-paced environment
• A proactive approach, with a genuine interest in developing your litigation expertise
