Personal Injury Solicitor (NQ-2)

Job Description

An established Scottish law firm is seeking a personal injury solicitor (NQ-2) to join its highly regarded Personal Injury team, rated Legal 500 Tier 1, based in Edinburgh. This full-time role offers hybrid working flexibility.

About the Role
The successful candidate will primarily work on the defence of a wide range of personal injury claims for leading insurer clients. This includes motor, EL/PL, and potentially disease claims, depending on experience. There will also be opportunities to assist senior team members on more complex and higher-value cases.

The role involves preparation and conduct of contentious hearings, with some court appearance experience preferred.

Candidate Profile

• NQ-2 in personal injury or related litigation
• Experience or willingness to conduct hearings and court appearances
• Excellent client care skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High levels of motivation, initiative, and attention to detail in legal work and reporting
