Overview:
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to join a highly regarded team specialising in non-accidental injury. You will handle complex and sensitive cases involving historical abuse and injury caused by crimes of violence or harassment. The role requires a compassionate approach combined with litigation skills, as you will manage cases from instruction through to conclusion. Supervision is available, but you will also be encouraged to develop autonomy and confidence in progressing matters independently. Occasional Court appearances may be required.
Role Requirements:
Experience:
Qualified Solicitor with 1–4 years’ PQE (pursuer personal injury focus)
Demonstrable experience running litigated cases from inception to settlement or proof
Familiarity with Sheriff Court, ASPIC, or Court of Session procedures
Skills:
Ability to handle sensitive and traumatic subject matter with empathy and professionalism
Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills to manage a varied caseload effectively
Initiative and adaptability to work both autonomously and as part of a close-knit team
Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to support and reassure clients
Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development
