A great opportunity to take on a dynamic caseload within a leading personal injury practice, managing Pursuer RTA claims with exposure to Defender work and litigated matters across Sheriff Court and ASPIC.

Job Description

Overview:
A fantastic opportunity for a skilled solicitor to manage a caseload of primarily Pursuer RTA personal injury claims, alongside some Defender work. This role includes handling pre-litigation and non-PI RTA matters, as well as preparing and managing litigated cases at Sheriff Court and ASPIC levels.

Experience:
• Managing a caseload of RTA Pursuer claims using case management systems.
• Handling non-PI RTA matters pre-litigation.
• Drafting and running litigated PI and non-PI RTA cases at Sheriff Court level.
• Engaging with third parties, medical experts, and insurers to progress cases effectively.
• Achieving performance targets while maintaining high-quality client service.
Skills:
• Knowledge of Scottish RTA personal injury protocols.
• Ability to assess cases strategically for early litigation.
• Commercial awareness in advising on settlements and litigation risks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
