Job Description

A Scottish based firm is seeking a personal injury solicitor to join its expanding Edinburgh team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload involving public liability, road traffic accidents (RTA), and employer liability claims, as well as mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the team’s growth.

The Role

  • Manage claims effectively, maximising recovery of damages
  • Prepare cases thoroughly, gathering all necessary evidence
  • Conduct hearings in the Sheriff Courts and apply knowledge of Court of Session and Sheriff Court procedures
  • Draft legal documents to a high standard
  • Provide excellent client care in line with service level agreements
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members

About You

  • Scottish-qualified solicitor with 2-4 years’ PQE
  • Experience in court litigation, with strong drafting skills
  • Understanding of credit hire is desirable
  • Skilled in managing complex client situations and delivering clear, practical legal advice
