Job Description

A Scottish based firm is seeking a personal injury solicitor to join its expanding Edinburgh team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload involving public liability, road traffic accidents (RTA), and employer liability claims, as well as mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the team’s growth.

The Role

Manage claims effectively, maximising recovery of damages
Prepare cases thoroughly, gathering all necessary evidence
Conduct hearings in the Sheriff Courts and apply knowledge of Court of Session and Sheriff Court procedures
Draft legal documents to a high standard
Provide excellent client care in line with service level agreements
Supervise and mentor junior team members

About You

Scottish-qualified solicitor with 2-4 years’ PQE
Experience in court litigation, with strong drafting skills
Understanding of credit hire is desirable
Skilled in managing complex client situations and delivering clear, practical legal advice
