A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a seasoned construction lawyer to step into a senior-level role within a growing and respected transactional construction team. This is your chance to work with a market-leading firm involved in some of the UK’s most innovative infrastructure and energy projects.

The Role
You’ll work closely with a broad range of clients - including developers, funders, contractors, and consultants - advising on construction contracts and infrastructure projects across the UK. From main building contracts to bespoke agreements and cutting-edge energy developments, you’ll be at the heart of major deals. You’ll also support junior lawyers, collaborate across departments, and contribute to business development initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

• 7+ years' PQE in transactional construction (Scotland or England & Wales qualified)
• Strong knowledge of JCT, NEC, FIDIC, and bespoke contracts
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and commercial skills
• Experience in both standalone and real estate-backed construction projects
• A team player with a proactive mindset and appetite for leadership
