Overview:
An established national firm is looking for an Insurance Solicitor – Supervisor to join its property damage team. This role offers the chance to manage a varied civil litigation caseload in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session while supervising a team of Paralegals and Trainee Solicitors.
Role Requirements:
Supervise a team handling pre-litigation and litigation cases up to £250k
Manage a reduced personal caseload and support senior lawyers on complex matters
Ensure effective case progression, team development and performance management
Act as a client contact and contribute to business development activities
Experience:
Qualified Solicitor with civil litigation experience
Knowledge of Scottish court procedures and commercial litigation
Supervisory or mentoring experience desirable
Skills:
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator and negotiator
Effective client management and problem-solving skills
Proactive with a commercial perspective
