Job Description

A unique opportunity has arisen for a real estate lawyer (2-5 years') to join a highly regarded in-house legal team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of property matters while supporting the strategic priorities of a major organisation.

The role will involve:

  • Advising on a full spectrum of real estate work, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, development, and asset management
  • Working closely with stakeholders across the business to provide pragmatic, solutions-focused legal advice
  • Contributing to significant projects with direct commercial impact
  • Building strong relationships and gaining hands-on experience beyond private practice

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 2–5 years’ PQE with experience in real estate matters, gained in private practice or in-house
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to balance legal and business considerations
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset
