Family Solicitor (NQ-2)

Job Description

A busy and well-established Family Law team are looking for a solicitor to join them in Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor or early-career lawyer to develop strong litigation and advocacy skills in a supportive environment.

The role will focus primarily on family and matrimonial matters, including privately funded work. There may also be opportunities to gain exposure to other areas of civil litigation, allowing the successful candidate to build broader experience while receiving support and guidance from the wider team.

This position would suit someone with a genuine interest in family law who enjoys the pace and variety of litigation work and is keen to develop their advocacy skills through involvement in court and tribunal matters.

About You 

• NQ-2 years’ PQE with an interest in family and matrimonial law
• A proactive and motivated approach to developing litigation skills
• Confidence working with clients and managing matters with increasing responsibility
• A flexible mindset and willingness to support across related areas of civil practice
