Whether you’re looking for a better balance or a firm where your contribution is properly recognised, you’ll have the support and autonomy to develop your practice and progress your career.
What’s on offer?
Genuine flexibility around working patterns
Hybrid working
Varied caseload of legal aid and privately funded work
Close-knit, collaborative high street firm
Scope to build your own client base and reputation locally
The role
You’ll manage your own caseload across the full range of Scottish family law matters, including:
Separation
Divorce
Cohabitation disputes
Financial provision on divorce
Child contact and residence
Your work will include negotiating and preparing minutes of agreement, conducting Sheriff Court actions and advising clients through each stage of their case.
You’ll handle a mix of privately funded instructions and legal aid work, including applications to the Scottish Legal Aid Board, so experience of both funding routes will be valuable but not essential as training will be given.
