A North Lanarkshire law firm with a great reputation for quality client service is seeking a Family Law Solicitor to join its team, offering a supportive environment and flexible working.

Job Description

Overview:
An established North Lanarkshire firm is seeking a Family Law Solicitor to join its team. The practice offers a flexible, supportive working environment with a strong focus on wellbeing, autonomy and high-quality client service. You will handle a varied caseload across both legal aid and private work.

Role Requirements:
• Managing a caseload of family law matters (mix of legal aid and private clients)
• Conducting court work, particularly in contact and child-related cases
• Working independently with minimal supervision
• Attending client meetings across locations as required

Experience:
• Ideally 2+ years’ PQE in family law
• Confident advocacy skills and regular court experience
• Ability to handle a busy caseload and work autonomously
• Experience with legal aid matters an advantage

Skills:
• Clear and empathetic communicator
• Organised, adaptable and able to prioritise
• Comfortable working within a small, collaborative team
