A new opportunity has arisen for a family solicitor (2+ years' to join a leading private client practice in Edinburgh. This role offers the chance to contribute to a team renowned for its sensitive, thoughtful, and solutions-focused approach to family law.

The Role
The successful candidate will work closely with experienced colleagues on a diverse range of matters, providing clear and considered advice to clients at key moments in their lives. Work will include:

• Divorce, separation, and financial provision
• Child law, including residence, contact, and relocation
• Cohabitation and prenuptial agreements
• Cases with cross-border or international elements
• Opportunities to engage in mediation and collaborative law

This position offers meaningful client contact, high-quality work, and the opportunity to develop a long-term, trusted adviser role within a respected team.

About You
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• At least 2 years’ PQE with experience in family law
• A thoughtful, empathetic, and measured approach to client relationships
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• The ability to manage cases independently, supported by a collaborative team
• A commitment to delivering clear, well-reasoned advice in often sensitive circumstances
