Family Solicitor (1-5 years')

Job Description

An established Edinburgh law firm is looking to appoint a Family Law Solicitor to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a family solicitor with 1-5 years’ PQE who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and well-established practice.

The Role

The successful candidate will manage their own caseload and work closely with clients across a broad range of family law matters.

The role will involve:

• Managing a varied family law caseload
• Advising clients on a range of family law matters
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Handling matters with a high degree of autonomy
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider team
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of the department

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working within a family law team
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• The ability to manage their own workload effectively
• A good working knowledge of Scottish family law
• A proactive and personable approach
• The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a wider team

Court experience would be advantageous, as would experience in more complex financial provision matters.
