Job Description

A leading specialist boutique law firm is seeking a qualified Family law Solicitor (NQ - 4 Years' PQE) to join their thriving team in Aberdeen.

In this position, the successful candidate will undertake a varied privately funded caseload, ranging from but not being limited to:

  • Financial provision on divorce
  • Separation
  • Child residence and contact
  • Rights relating to parental rights, responsibilities and adoption
  • Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
  • Cohabitation claims

Matters dealt with will range between Court of Session & Sheriff Court, alongside Collaborative Practice and Mediation. 

With a well structured team spanning all levels of qualified experience, structured learning & development to ensure training in all areas of Family law matters is guaranteed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Post qualified or traineeship experience in Family law
  • Experience in appearing in the Sheriff Court and handling privately funded Family law matters
  • An approachable and compassionate personality
