The role
As an Employment Solicitor in Glasgow, you'll manage a varied caseload spanning contentious and non-contentious employment law, with a focus on employer clients. Your work will include:
Advising on unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and redundancy
Supporting clients through disciplinary and grievance processes
Handling TUPE and large-scale restructuring projects
Managing Employment Tribunal claims, including advocacy where appropriate
Providing commercially focused HR and workplace advice
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Contributing to wider team initiatives and business development
About you
Scottish qualified employment lawyer
Experience advising employer clients on workplace issues
Confident handling Employment Tribunal litigation
Drafting skills across pleadings and advisory documents
Able to manage your own caseload while contributing to team success
Skilled at building trusted client relationships
Proactive, solutions-focused approach
Interested in mentoring junior colleagues
Commercially aware, with a pragmatic approach to advice
