Job Description

A well-respected UK law firm is seeking an employment solicitor (2-7 years’ PQE) to join its growing Employment team in Glasgow or Edinburgh.

The role offers exposure to a broad mix of employment law matters, including complex tribunal claims, day-to-day advisory work, restructuring projects, discrimination and whistleblowing cases, senior executive issues, and cross-border employment matters. There will also be opportunities to support clients on M&A, outsourcing, and high-value litigation.

The team works with a wide range of clients, from large corporates and financial institutions to international organisations. Known for delivering commercial and pragmatic solutions, the group is collaborative, supportive, and offers the chance to get involved in high-quality and often international work.

Key requirements:

• 2-7 years’ PQE in employment law within a commercial practice
• Solid technical knowledge across contentious and advisory employment law
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships
• A team-focused approach and enthusiasm for contributing to the group’s growth
