Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor at Associate or Senior Associate level to join a highly regarded Employment Law team with a strong reputation across Scotland and the UK.

The role offers the opportunity to advise senior executives on complex and high-value employment matters, working alongside experienced employment specialists.

The Role

You will advise senior executives and individuals across a broad range of employment law matters, including:

• Negotiated exits, settlement agreements and senior executive contracts
• Complex employment disputes, claims and grievances
• ACAS conciliation and Employment Tribunal proceedings
• Providing practical, commercially focused employment advice
• Managing a varied caseload with a high degree of autonomy
• Developing strong client and professional relationships
• Supporting business development, networking and team initiatives

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• 8+ years' PQE in Employment Law
• Strong experience advising senior executives on complex and high-value matters
• Excellent technical knowledge across contentious and non-contentious employment law
• Strong communication, client management and business development skills
• A commercial, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work independently

Based in Edinburgh, the role offers a flexible approach to working, with remote, part-time and other flexible arrangements available.
