Overview:
A highly regarded national law firm is continuing its strong growth and is now looking to appoint a senior Employment lawyer at Partner level in Glasgow. This is an opportunity to join an established and widely recognised employment practice, advising a diverse client base on complex and high-value employment matters while helping to shape the ongoing development of the team in Scotland.
The team is known for delivering practical, commercially focused advice and is consistently recognised by leading legal directories for the quality of its work and people.
Role Requirements:
• Partner level Employment solicitor
• Ability to play a key role in the growth and direction of the Employment team in Glasgow
• Existing client following or well-developed referral network
• Interest in business development and contributing to team strategy
Experience:
• Advising employers on a wide range of employment matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, restructures, TUPE, whistleblowing and redundancy
• Providing strategic advice to senior leadership teams and boards
• Acting for senior executives and professionals on employment-related issues
Skills:
• Commercial and pragmatic approach to advising clients
• Ability to build trusted, long-term client relationships
• Collaborative approach with an interest in mentoring and team development
