The role

As an Employment Lawyer in Glasgow, you'll manage a full and varied caseload of employment law matters for employer clients, working closely with senior colleagues and other teams across the firm. Day to day, this includes:

Advising on complex contentious and non-contentious employment matters
Representing clients at the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal, including advocacy
Advising on strategy for large-scale collective redundancies, collective bargaining, TUPE transfers and related consultation processes
Supporting colleagues on corporate, property and other transactional work with an employment law dimension
Working alongside immigration, pensions, share incentives and tax colleagues to deliver joined-up client advice
Designing and delivering client training, seminars and webinars
Supporting the development of junior team members

About you

This role would suit a Senior Employment Solicitor who:

Has 6+ years' relevant PQE in employment law (Scots or English law qualified)
Has experience advising a range of businesses across multiple sectors
Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external clients with ease
Communicates confidently with senior colleagues and senior client representatives
Is commercially astute with problem-solving skills
Has good spoken and written advocacy skills
Works well independently and as part of a team
