Corporate Solicitor (2-5 years')

Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented corporate solicitor to join a highly regarded and growing team in Glasgow.

This is a broad and varied role offering exposure to a range of sophisticated corporate transactions, including M&A, investments, private equity and joint ventures. You will work alongside experienced lawyers on complex, high-value matters, including work with an international dimension, while developing strong client relationships and your wider commercial skill set.

The Role

You will have the opportunity to:

• Work on a broad range of corporate transactions, from M&A and investments through to joint ventures and private equity matters
• Advise a diverse client base on complex and high-value transactions
• Work closely with senior lawyers and take increasing responsibility for your own matters
• Develop strong, long-term client relationships
• Support business development and marketing initiatives
• Contribute to the development of more junior team members, including trainees
• Benefit from ongoing training, development and access to legal technology

About You

• Be a qualified solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE
• Have gained solid corporate experience within a UK-based team
• Have strong drafting and analytical skills
• Be commercially minded and able to provide practical, solutions-focused advice
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be ambitious, proactive and keen to develop their career within a leading corporate practice
• Have a genuine interest in working on high-quality, complex transactions
