Opportunity for a corporate solicitor to join a top Scottish team working on a wide range of matters. Based in Edinburgh with hybrid working offered.

Job Description

A leading Scottish firm is seeking a corporate solicitor to join its highly regarded Corporate team in Edinburgh. The team acts on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, reorganisations, and commercial contracts.

The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience working with partners and senior lawyers across complex deals, advising on shareholder agreements, articles of association, secured lending, and corporate governance. You’ll also be involved in managing due diligence, drafting key documents, and liaising with clients, financial institutions, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Scottish practising certificate.
  • Previous experience in corporate or commercial law.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with strong communication skills.
