Overview:
A long-standing Glasgow firm is looking for a Conveyancing Solicitor to join its friendly and busy property team. The practice is known for its personal, client-focused approach and enjoys a strong base of repeat instructions. This role offers the chance to handle varied residential work alongside exposure to specialist lender-focused commercial security matters, with training provided.
Role Requirements:
Manage residential conveyancing transactions from initial instruction through to completion
Deal with a range of files including sales, purchases, buy-to-let and higher-value matters
Handle commercial security work linked to lender transactions (training offered)
Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout each matter
Collaborate with colleagues across conveyancing, private client and court teams where files overlap
Engage in ongoing learning relating to specialist commercial security processes
Experience:
Experience handling residential conveyancing transactions across a broad mix
Interest in developing expertise in lender-based commercial security work
Confident managing an active caseload independently
Ability to work closely with colleagues and paralegal support
Skills:
Excellent client-care and communication abilities
Organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable delivering a personal, responsive service
Team-focused approach suited to a relaxed but professional environment
On Offer:
Salary dependent on experience
Annual discretionary bonus (typically paid at Christmas)
Hybrid working after initial settling-in period (one day per week from home)
