Overview:
A growing Construction & Engineering disputes team is keen to recruit a solicitor with 2–7 years’ PQE to take on a varied and challenging role within a high-performing group. This is a chance to work on technically complex and high-value disputes across Scotland and the UK, supporting clients from both public and private sectors including developers, funders, insurers and contractors.
Role Requirements:
Experience:
2–7 years of post-qualification experience in contentious construction matters
Exposure to formal dispute procedures including litigation, arbitration, adjudication and mediation
Confidence in advising clients on risk, commercial strategy and dispute resolution approaches
Comfortable working directly with clients and building lasting relationships
Skills:
Advocacy experience and the ability to represent clients in hearings and tribunals
Well-developed analytical and drafting capabilities
Clear and adaptable communicator, both written and verbal
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team on large, multi-party matters
