Job Opportunity: Associate Solicitor – Commercial, IP/IT & Data Protection (4+ Years’ PQE)

Location: Glasgow 

Overview:
A leading national firm is seeking an Associate to join its top-ranked Commercial Services team. The role offers exposure to a wide range of commercial, IP/IT, and data protection matters for clients across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE to take on high-quality work and progress within a collaborative and innovative team.

Role Requirements

Experience:
• 4–8 years’ PQE in commercial contracts and data protection (other levels considered)
• Experience advising on complex commercial matters, including technology, outsourcing, and procurement
• Exposure to IP, regulatory issues, and supervising junior colleagues

Skills:
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Able to manage competing deadlines and complex projects
• Commercially minded with an interest in legal tech and AI integration
