Job Description
A leading Real Estate team is seeking a commercial property solicitor (1-3 years') to join it's Edinburgh office. This opportunity offers high-quality work with a focus on advising public sector clients, alongside involvement in broader commercial property matters.
The role will involve:
- Acting as advisor to public sector clients on estate management, leasing, and conveyancing matters
- Negotiating and implementing contractual documents for development sites and projects
- Reviewing, analysing, and reporting on titles with a commercial and pragmatic approach
- Collaborating with colleagues across the wider Real Estate team on significant property projects
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, agents, and stakeholders
- Participating in business development activities to support the team’s growth
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- 1-3 years’ PQE in real estate/commercial property
- A strong interest in the property industry and its key drivers
- Enthusiasm, adaptability, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Excellent attention to detail while maintaining commercial perspective
- Strong communication skills and confidence when engaging with clients
