Commercial Disputes Solicitor

Job Description

A leading Scottish law firm is seeking an experienced commercial dispute solicitor (4+ years') to join its highly regarded team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to handle high-quality, complex work for a mix of domestic and international clients.

The Work
The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of contentious matters, including:

• Contract and company disputes
• Professional negligence claims
• Banking and financial services litigation
• Property and real estate disputes
• Contentious construction and engineering matters
• Intellectual property and technology disputes
• Public law and regulatory matters

The team regularly acts before the Court of Session, Sheriff Courts, and Tribunals, and is experienced in handling cross-border litigation and appeals to the UK Supreme Court.

About You
The firm is looking for a:

• Qualified solicitor with at least 4 years’ PQE in commercial dispute resolution or litigation
• Strong communicator with excellent technical and analytical skills
• Confident team player with the ability to manage a varied caseload and deliver clear, strategic advice to clients
• Commercially aware lawyer with a client-focused approach and strong attention to detail
