An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a clean energy solicitor to join a dynamic and expanding team. Working closely with the head of department and key partners across multiple UK offices, this role offers you the chance to engage in groundbreaking projects and shape the future of clean energy law.
Role Requirements
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in clean energy law, focusing on commercial, projects and regulatory matters
Familiarity with transactional work within the clean energy sector is highly desirable
Proven expertise in technologies such as solar PV, wind, hydro, battery storage, energy-from-waste, biogas, hydrogen, EV charging and district heating is a significant advantage
Skills:
Good understanding of energy contracts, including power purchase agreements, energy supply contracts and grid connection arrangements
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including Ofgem licensing and low-carbon support regimes
Ability to manage complex project developments, acquisitions and disposals
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with a multidisciplinary team across various offices
