The role
As an Associate Solicitor in the Private Client team, you’ll manage a complex caseload of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trusts and estate planning matters while supervising solicitors, paralegals and trainees. You’ll work closely with the partner, contribute technical guidance across the team and play an active role in business development and the ongoing growth of the department.
About you
This role would suit a Solicitor who:
Has 4+ years’ PQE with solid technical knowledge across Wills, POAs, Trusts, Deeds of Variation and inheritance tax
Has experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues
Brings compassion and empathy to client interaction, particularly in sensitive circumstances
Takes a commercially aware, proactive approach to caseload and billing management
STEP qualification and/or dual qualification in Scots and English law are desirable but not essential
