In addition, our expert Dispute Resolution & Litigation group deals with all aspects of civil and commercial litigation for a wide variety of clients and includes a Personal Injury department that specialises in industrial disease, travel related and accident abroad, medical and dental negligence and spinal injuries claims.

Traineeships
We are now recruiting an additional 8 trainees to start their traineeships with us in December2027 across four of our offices Edinburgh (3 positions), Glasgow (2 positions), Dundee (2 positions) and Perth (1 position).
As a Lindsays trainee, you will gain in-depth experience in three different seats over the two years and, as you progress through your traineeship, you will gain an understanding of aclient’s needs and the work each department carries out on their behalf. You will have direct contact with clients and hands on involvement with projects and transactions and, upon qualification, will be equipped with the skills required to become a successful lawyer.
Throughout your traineeship, we will offer you friendly, professional advice and support. We will fund your attendance at various seminars, conferences and skills workshops which, along with the practical experience gained in your seat, will assist in the achievement of the PEAT 2 outcomes and ensure you meet TCPD requirements.

Whilst the core contractual hours offered are 9am – 5pm, the culture of the firm allows a certain amount of flexibility subject to the needs of the business.
