About Kerr Stirling LLP – Kerr Stirling LLP is a well-established Scottish law firm with offices in Stirling and Falkirk, alongside a growing presence across the Central Belt. We offer deep expertise across a broad range of sectors, specialising in Property, Private Client and Corporate and Commercial work. 

The Role – We are offering a structured Traineeship designed to provide hands-on, high-quality exposure across our key practice areas and office locations. You will be given the opportunity to learn from legal experts whilst delivering high-quality work with responsibility and direct client exposure. Your main seat rotations will cover:

• Property: Residential and commercial conveyancing 
• Private Client: Executry administration, wills, and powers of attorney

The firm also deals with Corporate & Commercial work, and there may be opportunities to gain exposure to transactions in this area.  

Who We Are Looking For – We are seeking a motivated trainee who is eager to build a strong foundation in our core practice areas. In addition to an LLB and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice (DPLP), you should have:- 

• A proactive, “self-starter” approach, and strong willingness to be challenged in a fast-paced but down to earth environment 
• Outstanding organisational skills, strong time management and meticulous attention to detail 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a considerate and professional approach  
• A genuine interest in our firm, our core practice areas, and building a career with us

Salary – Paid in line with the Law Society of Scotland recommended rates.
