Trainee Solicitor

Job Description

Are you a dedicated and personable aspiring solicitor with an interest in Private Client work? We’re looking for a trainee solicitor to join our well-regarded Private Client team and build a rewarding legal career.

About the Role

As a trainee in our Private Client department, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a wide range of matters, including:

• Wills and powers of attorney
• Executries and estate administration
• Tax and succession planning

There will also be the opportunity to gain experience in Conveyancing with a broad range of residential, commercial, and agricultural. 

You’ll work closely with our experienced solicitors and partners, gaining real responsibility and client exposure from the outset.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Currently completing or has completed the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice (PEAT 1)
• Genuinely interested in Private Client law and committed to a career in this area
• Highly organised, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Approachable, empathetic, and able to deal sensitively with clients from all walks of life
• Keen to develop professionally and contribute to a collaborative team environment

Previous experience in a legal or client-facing setting is desirable but not essential.
