c£60k - £75k (DOE) + Excellent Benefits Package.

Are you an experienced Private Client Solicitor looking to join a firm where your expertise is recognised, your career is supported, and you can make a genuine difference to your clients?

Our client, a highly respected Scottish law firm, is continuing to grow its successful Wills, Estates & Succession Planning team and is seeking an ambitious Solicitor or Associate (4+ years' PQE) to join its Edinburgh office.

This is an outstanding opportunity to become part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team that is committed to delivering exceptional client service while providing its lawyers with genuine opportunities for professional development and career progression.

You will advise a diverse client base on a broad range of private client matters, managing your own varied caseload while working alongside experienced colleagues on more complex matters.

You will also have the opportunity to mentor and support junior team members, playing an active role in the continued growth of the team.

Your work will include:

Tax and estate planning
Succession and inheritance planning
Asset protection strategies
Drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney
Trust creation, administration and drafting
Executry administration
Advising elderly and vulnerable clients

About You

You'll be a qualified Scottish Solicitor with at least four years' PQE in Private Client work and a genuine passion for building long-term relationships with clients.

You will possess and demonstrate:

Excellent technical knowledge across private client matters
Outstanding communication and client relationship skills
A proactive and commercially minded approach
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues would be advantageous

A STEP qualification would be welcomed but is by no means essential.

This is more than just another Private Client role. It's an opportunity to join a firm that genuinely values its people and invests in their future.

Our client offers

A supportive, collaborative team culture
Hybrid and flexible working
Clear opportunities for career progression
A competitive salary, commensurate with experience
An excellent benefits package
The chance to play a key role within a growing and successful team
High-quality and varied private client work

If you are looking for your next career move within a firm where you can develop your practice, build lasting client relationships and enjoy a positive, supportive working environment, I would welcome the opportunity to arrange a confidential discussion.
