Job Description

Beaumont Legal Recruitment is delighted to be instructed on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded Scottish law firm in the appointment of a Senior Solicitor/Associate to join its expanding Wills, Estates and Succession Planning team in Edinburgh.

This is a strategic growth hire within a respected Private Client practice, offering the opportunity to take ownership of a varied and high-quality caseload while contributing to the continued development of the team.

The Opportunity

You will manage a broad and technically engaging caseload, advising clients across:

  • Tax and estate planning
  • Asset protection strategies
  • Will drafting
  • Powers of Attorney
  • Trust drafting and administration
  • Executry administration
  • Elderly client advisory matters

The role offers meaningful client contact, complex advisory work, and the opportunity to provide commercially focused, sensitive guidance to individuals and families at key stages of their planning.
You will also play an active role in supervising and mentoring junior colleagues, supporting the continued growth and capability of the wider team.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE in Private Client work
  • Strong technical grounding across wills, trusts and executry matters
  • Confident managing your own caseload independently
  • Committed to delivering exceptional client care
  • Collaborative, proactive and commercially aware
  • STEP qualification desirable, though not essential
